Retail Regional Manager
Location: Must live in Columbus, OH area/ Remote +Travel

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Retail Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing a territory of profitable dispensaries by maximizing volume and inventory management. The candidate will have significant sales experience and will lead efforts through effective leadership of dispensary management and team members. The Regional Manager will ensure the region at all levels‘ Expertly Delivers Personalized Service.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial:
- Manages profit and loss (P&L) for territory.
- Participates in the annual budget process, includes revenue projections and expenses.
- Approves expenses weekly for area.
- Utilizes standard business reports - key performance indicators (KPIs) to make better business decisions.
- Ensures area achieves labor goals through effective scheduling and payroll management for area.
- Evaluates and cut expenses, when possible, without sacrificing business requirements.
Human Resources:
- Formulates a collaborative culture of accountability, responsibility, and practice values of Trulieve.
- Ensures each team member understands and buys into Trulieve’s vision, mission, and values proposition.
- Manages the recruitment process for area management by leading efforts to attract talent, when required.
- Retains, motivates, and develops field and dispensary management, and team members.
- Executes individual monthly touch bases with dispensary management.
- Administers reviews.
Operations Management:
- Prioritizes customer service as the utmost important.
- Ensures inventory management, including right product, right location, right price, to drive revenue.
- Makes certain the dispensaries are safe and impeccably maintained, and in accordance with regulations and compliance.
- Ensures dissemination of company initiatives to dispensary management and team members.
- Adheres to Trulieve’s policies, business processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensures adherence to policies and procedures by team members.
- Makes certain that all team members are current in any required training and certifications.
- Provides information and feedback to management with the goal of fostering quality and efficiency and suggests improvement to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Identifies underperforming areas and develops a plan to address and manage areas effectively.
Sales Management:
- Creates weekly, monthly, and quarterly recaps illustrating key focus for territory.
- Strives to maximize achievement of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual sales goals by coaching, mentoring, and training, dispensary management and team members.
- Role models the strong ability to sell and upsell products.
- Communicates and reviews sales goals with field and dispensary management and team members.
- Makes certain field and dispensary management and team members provide best-in-class customer service.
Training:
- Consistently executes training for team members focused on customer service and product knowledge in partnership with the retail training.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 5+ years of multi-unit retail experience with a proven track record of results.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Exhibits strong professional communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of products, and general industry terms.
- Adept at mathematics and finance; including financial reports and Profit & Loss statements
ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record
- Pass a level 1 and level 2 background check and drug screening
- At least 21 years of age
- Possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the position duties and responsibilities
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
- Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks.
- Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions.
- Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise).
WORK SCHEDULE:
- 45+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on dispensary needs. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Travel requirement is 75% of the work week.
